Frequently asked questions

Documentation, purity, handling and ordering — in plain language.

What does “research use only” actually mean?

It means these materials are laboratory reagents. They are not drugs, foods, cosmetics or medical devices, they have not been evaluated for safety in humans or animals, and they must not be used in or on either. Purchasing confirms you are a qualified buyer handling them in a research setting. Full detail on the disclaimer page.

Can I see a certificate of analysis before I order?

Yes, and you don’t need to ask. Current lot certificates are published in the COA archive. If your lot isn’t listed there, request it on that page and we’ll send it — usually the same business day. A certificate for your specific lot is also attached to the dispatch email of every order.

What purity should I expect?

Peptide products typically assay at 99%+ by RP-HPLC (area percent at 214 nm). Recombinant proteins typically assay at 98%+. The figure on each product page is the release threshold; the COA carries the measured result for your lot. What that figure does and doesn’t cover is explained in the research library.

How do I reconstitute the material?

Use bacteriostatic water. Let the vial reach room temperature, direct the diluent against the glass wall rather than onto the powder, and swirl gently — do not shake. Store reconstituted material at 2–8 °C and use it within the window listed on the product page. Step by step in the research library.

My GHK-Cu arrived blue. Is that a problem?

No — that’s expected. GHK-Cu is a copper complex and the lyophilisate is genuinely deep blue. A white GHK-Cu vial would be the anomaly.

How fast do orders ship?

Orders placed before 2pm ET ship the same business day; otherwise the next business day. Rates are calculated at checkout and orders over $100 ship free. Everything goes out in plain, unbranded packaging. Full detail on the shipping & returns page, and you can track an order here.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship within the United States as standard. For international research enquiries, contact us with your destination country and institution and we will confirm whether we can supply and what documentation is required.

What if something arrives damaged?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery with photographs and we will replace or refund it in full. That covers damaged vials, compromised seals, a lot number that doesn’t match the certificate, or the wrong item. Opened vials cannot be returned — see shipping & returns.

What payment methods do you accept?

Major credit and debit cards at checkout. Card details go straight to the payment processor and are never stored on this site. For purchase orders, formal quotes or bank transfer, see bulk orders.

Do you offer bulk or institutional pricing?

Yes, quoted per enquiry rather than published — it depends on the compound, quantity, and whether you need single-lot material. Details and a quote form on the bulk orders page.

Can you advise on dosing or protocols?

No. We supply materials and documentation only. We cannot provide dosing information, administration guidance, or any advice relating to use in humans or animals, and we will not make an exception on request.
